NEC Corporation, known as NEC, is a Japanese multinational IT corporation. One company that offers a complete range of semi-conductive, electrical, communications, peripheral computers, imaging and computing goods. The firm is responsible for producing and selling items through 38 locations across the world. IT solutions, network solutions and electrical equipment are the three major components of the enterprise. The Earth Simulator, the fastest supercomputer at the time, was also manufacturer ofNEC. NEC is a Sumitomo Group membership. The ranking of the Fortune Global 500 was 271st in 2012.
